Privacy and cookie policy

Last updated: 06/10/2026

This policy explains how CUB3 uses the data submitted on its website, including contact requests and emailed simulator estimates. It distinguishes the handling of your request from the optional use of your email address for marketing, under Andorran data protection legislation and the GDPR where applicable.

Data controller

  • Data controller: CUB3
  • Address: Carrer Pau Casals num 8 en pis, Despatx 1 Edifici Cornella 2, AD500 Andorra la Vella
  • Personal data contact: contact@cub3.eu

You can write to this address with questions about your data or to exercise your rights.

Data collected

  • Contact form: name, email address, information you choose to provide about your profile and needs, message and, if you choose to attach it, your estimate summary.
  • Simulator: project type, number of pages or selected features, option responses, assumptions and estimated amount. Your email address is only requested to receive the PDF.
  • If you agree to be contacted: email address, project context and estimate, consent date, version and text of the notice accepted, and its source (CUB3 simulator).
  • Technical data required for security and delivery: request identifier, processing information and the provider’s delivery status. Identifiers derived from the IP address or email address may be used temporarily to limit abuse.

You can choose your project scope without providing an email address. The estimated amount is provided only in the PDF sent to the email address you supply. Do not include sensitive data or information about third parties in your request.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering a contact request and preparing a potential project: pre-contractual steps at your request when it concerns a service, or CUB3’s legitimate interest in answering other enquiries.
  • Generating and sending the requested PDF: pre-contractual steps at your request. An email address is required for delivery, but marketing consent is not.
  • Contacting you by email about your project and CUB3 services: your optional consent, collected through a separate, unticked checkbox. Accepting the terms of use does not constitute marketing consent.
  • Protecting the form against spam and automated requests: CUB3’s legitimate interest in ensuring the security and availability of the service.

The simulator calculates an indicative budget from your choices. This calculation is neither a decision to accept your project nor an automated decision producing legal effects concerning you.

PDF delivery and Mailjet prospect list

Mailjet is used as a service provider to send the PDF to the address supplied. This delivery may create a technical contact in Mailjet even if you do not wish to receive marketing communications. It does not automatically subscribe you to the simulator prospect list.

Addition to this dedicated list is requested only if you tick the marketing consent checkbox. Declining does not prevent you from choosing your project scope, receiving the PDF with your estimated amount at the email address supplied or contacting us on your own initiative.

Open and click tracking is disabled for emails containing the estimate. Every marketing message must identify CUB3 and offer a simple way to unsubscribe. You may also withdraw your consent by writing to contact@cub3.eu.

Recipients and transfers

Data is accessible to the CUB3 staff responsible for handling your request. Our technical providers may access it as needed for their duties: hosting and website operation, and Mailjet for sending emails and managing the prospect list.

CUB3 is established in Andorra. Processing locations also depend on providers and their subprocessors; this policy therefore does not assume that all data remains in the European Union. You can ask contact@cub3.eu for information on recipients, processing locations and safeguards applicable to any international transfers.

We do not sell your contact details. Disclosure may also be necessary to meet a legal obligation.

Retention periods

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project and simulator prospect data: no more than one year after your last relevant contact with CUB3. A further message from CUB3 without a response from you does not extend this period.
  • Withdrawal of consent or objection: marketing stops as soon as your request is processed. Data used solely for this purpose is deleted, except what is strictly necessary to honour your unsubscribe request or meet a legal obligation.
  • Technical data for abuse prevention: temporary retention, limited to the operation of the form’s protections.
  • If a contractual relationship begins: only data useful for that relationship and data required by legal obligations is retained for the corresponding periods.

Technical contacts created to deliver the PDF are also subject to the retention limit applicable to the request. Data needed to evidence your choices or defend legal rights may be retained separately for the legally necessary period, without being reused for marketing.

Your rights

Depending on applicable rules and the conditions for each right, you may request:

  • Access to and correction of your data.
  • Deletion when your data is no longer necessary or the legal conditions are met.
  • Restriction of processing or an objection to it, including any marketing.
  • Data portability where this right applies.
  • Withdrawal of your consent at any time, without affecting lawful processing carried out before withdrawal.

Send your request to contact@cub3.eu. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect delivery of a PDF already requested or your ability to submit a new request.

You may lodge a complaint with the Agència Andorrana de Protecció de Dades (APDA) or, where the GDPR applies, with the competent authority, particularly in your place of habitual residence, such as the CNIL in France.

Security

Access and data used for delivery are limited to the service’s needs. Mailjet credentials are kept on the server. Validation and request limits aim to reduce abusive use of the form.

No online service can guarantee the complete absence of incidents. If you notice an issue involving your data, contact us at contact@cub3.eu.
