A PWA, or Progressive Web App, adds installation capabilities to a web application. The CUB3 offer combines application development with installation on compatible devices, including icons, static resource caching and an offline screen.
From €7,200 excluding VAT, web application included: the web budget plus a standard PWA option at +€1,200 excluding VAT. The final price depends on the selected features and agreed browsers. Do not add the web application budget to this amount a second time.
The proposed scope
The offer includes the clearly scoped web application and adds the following PWA elements: installation, icons, static resource caching and an offline screen. Testing covers the browsers agreed with you.
This format is worth considering when users regularly return to a web application and you want to define how they access it from a device. The choice still depends on their equipment and the features they actually need.
What “offline” means here
Static resource caching and the offline screen do not provide an offline business workflow. The starting offer does not include entering data without a network or synchronising it later.
Notifications and store publication are also excluded from this scope. If your teams need to complete an entire workflow without a connection, we must define the available data, permitted actions and synchronisation rules before pricing that capability.
Preparing the right version
We start by defining web workflows and target devices. The PWA capabilities are then specified, integrated and tested on the agreed browsers. The quote separates the application, any required additions and third-party costs.
If your web application already exists, we need to examine its condition to determine the adaptation required. The full offer price does not automatically apply as an add-on to an existing application.
Your questions about PWAs
Is this the same offer as a hybrid or native mobile application?
No. The scopes differ, particularly for distribution through stores. Compare the hybrid mobile offer based on an existing application and the native mobile offer, whose platforms and features need to be scoped.
Does €7,200 cover any web application?
It is a starting price for a scoped web application and the PWA capabilities described. The features, constraints and any additions determine the final quote.
Are notifications included?
No. They must be assessed and priced separately according to the intended uses and environments.
