Recovery & reliability

A technical audit to decide your next actions

You need to develop an application, recover a project or understand its technical difficulties. Before committing to fixes, you need an assessment of the existing product and clear priorities. CUB3 offers an audit of one application and one code repository.

The assignment examines code, architecture and dependencies. It includes targeted security and performance checks, followed by a prioritised report and review meeting. These help you prepare the next stage and discuss the work to undertake.

The audit scope

  • Review of the application code and architecture.
  • Examination of dependencies.
  • Targeted security and performance checks.
  • Prioritised report and review of the findings.

Scoping defines the questions to investigate in the application. The review puts observations in the context of your need: preparing recovery, guiding an evolution or understanding problematic behaviour.

Budget and limitations

The indicative budget is €2,000–4,000 excluding VAT, confirmed after scoping. Fixes, a penetration test and certification are not included and must be priced separately. The checks are targeted; this assignment does not constitute exhaustive validation of the application’s security.

Hosting, licences and third-party services remain additional. Our pricing page presents other services and their conditions. For a wider recovery approach, explore Project Recovery.

The proposed process

We suggest starting with the questions behind the audit and access to the application and repository. The review and targeted checks then inform the prioritised report. The findings meeting concludes this assignment; any fixes have a separate scope.

Your questions

Does the audit include fixing the problems?

No. It includes analysis, targeted checks, the report and the findings meeting. Fixes are priced separately.

Is this a penetration test?

No. A penetration test and certification are separate services from the scope presented here.

What happens after the findings meeting?

You have a prioritised report to decide what comes next. If you then need minor fixes and recurring diagnosis, see application maintenance.

Depending on the findings, the next stage may involve moving an MVP to an adaptable application or setting up deployment environments. The MVP-to-SaaS offer includes its own recovery audit: completed analysis is taken into account without charging twice for the same work.
